After finishing up two of the books on my Classics Club list over the past few weeks, I’m excited to start off the year right by participating in the first ever “Classics Club Readathon” tomorrow, January 5th. It will be 24 hours devoted to reading the classics, in company of fellow classics clubbers and bookish friends. If you’re interested in participating, you can check out the intro post and sign-up here.
I’m planning to read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, which I started recently. I doubt that I’ll make it a full 24 hours (Mama needs her sleep), but I think it will be fun all the same. I’m not sure if there will be a twitter hashtag–does anyone know? I’ll be putting any updates on this post.
And whether you’re reading or not, wishing you a great weekend!
Happy weekend! Have fun with the readathon! I have plans for this weekend or I’d definitely be participating.
Good luck – I’ll be there with you

I LOVE Rebecca! Such a great book! 🙂
Saw this too late but I’m nursing a copy of Middlemarch. I’ll be sure to read it exclusively this weekend. Good luck 🙂
Ah Rebecca, my top classic of 2012, what a treat!
Nice! I finished Rebecca last year – so moody, perfect for winter time. Looking forward to your review
