It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by The Book Journey, and it’s a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well.
Last week, I read Hollywood Scandals by Gemma Halliday, which will qualify for the Why Buy the Cow? Challenge. I enjoyed it, and I’ve started on another in the same series, Hollywood Confessions. I hope to write up a quick review of the first book either tonight or tomorrow.
I’m still reading Trip of the Tongue by Elizabeth Little, which I’m enjoying but I’m having to read in small bits, as there’s a lot to understand and think about. I’m hoping to finish it this week, though, so I can move on to other books for my March Review Copy Challenge.
I checked two books out of the library this week that I need to get busy reading before I have to return them–The Charming Quirks of Others by Alexander McCall Smith (#7 in the Isabel Dalhousie series) and Turn Right at Machu Picchu: Rediscovering the Lost City One Step at a Time by Mark Adams.
And there’s always that Persuasion re-read I need to get on…why does real life have to interfere with reading time?
What are you reading this week?
